While some of ya'll have been couch napping all summer watching Dukes of Hazard reruns, dem Duke boys at Tattooagogo have been at it again! While we might be lacking in Daisy Duke cutoffs, we'll make up for it with TJ in a speedo (next blog post...) speaking of fashion, did you catch the #HawaiianshirtFriday posts on the shop's Instagram and Twitter feeds? Be sure to follow both for all the latest shop gossip, woven by Lord Vader himself, and tell a friend or foe. We've been updating the website adding new photos and descriptions (question of the day: what does that dragon represent?) Donn recently returned from Japan where he got a few new tattoos, toured Buddhist temples, and slayed dragons (but only the evil ones). He also got a new tattoo from the soon-to-be-legend D3 carrying the torch of the Davis' tradition after only 10 winters on the planet. D3's next piece will be a rendition of Princess Leia chained to the rougarou. And on the August table, Donn has begun a new Boba Fett Samurai piece, finished a peony & butterfly 3/4 sleeve,
along with plenty others that you can find on Donn's Instagram feed and portfolio.
BTW, when was the last time you had a 'lil toe feel? Our very own Cajun Fabio, TJ, is #straightbangin the #steadyslangin all the while on his search to uncover the real Mr. Marrero. TJ has been working on a painting for the Diabolical Art Show which will be in Houston, TX on Oct. 3-10 (Donn & Kenny will be submitting work as well) in addition to his normal grind of artwork--some featured in this video clip (Kenny on vocals). Be sure to follow TJ on Instagram for his daily sermon and sacrifices.
Last but not least the search continues for Animal Chin or the teenage sensation working at the shop (I had to Google Macklemoore, wtf?) In any case, Kenny has given me special permission to use the honorary #allthewaybeyonce tag, yet now I hardly have anything worthy to use it with. Nonetheless, Kenny has finished up some rad work, like Landon's back piece (above) and started a wicked little beast on Jon, finished a 3-titty pirate, along with plenty of other artwork that gives me flashbacks when I took lots of LSD while in the U.S. Navy.
