Now this is rising from the dead like a zombie on AMC

Hello folks, it has been awhile but we are about to kick this blog into high gear and get it going and promise to update it weekly. The plan is to every Monday we will all give a few pics of tattoos, artwork and fun stuff that goes around the shop into a folder and load it up here. We have spent the last year or so becoming Instagram-a-holics and figure that people need to be able to view our shit bigger than a viewfinder on a camera so lets put it all here. I hope yall will join us and follow us and let us know what you think.

This year coming up is gonna be a big one with several conventions starting with Austin in january and we are gonna take the south by storm. We did the New Orleans one like usual since it is our home town and had lots of fun with the guys from out of town who joined us. Jason Thomas from Jackson Ms, Doc Cooper from Saint Tattoo in Tennesse, Justin Shaw from Faith Tattoo in Santa Rosa California and Jason Kelly from Live Free Tattoo in Atlanta all came down and had good time enjoying the sights and taste of New Orleans.

So here we have our newest shirts. The green one is available n long or short sleeve and we have the spider design also available in red shirt with black design. The spider is also printed on soft womens style smoke colored shirts with the design in black.Very cool and I will post pics of it soon.

Here are a few recent tattoos by Donn.

 These pics are from the Killeen Texas Tattoo convention and was lots of fun. Gotta give it up to the Guzman family for throwing a serious convention that had a great party atmosphere where everybody had some great fun!

Since our last blog post we have added Ken Cox to our crew and he has turned out to be a great addition to the Tattooagogo Family and he keeps us laughing along with pumping out his stellar brand of tattoos. Come by to check out his serious collection of handpainted flash he is always producing.

 I am gonna have to hit up Theophile for some new pics since I don't have any of his around on my desktop right now. Come back next Monday to see whats going on and for more catch up.

So it's been a great year so far for us! We've been really busy, and because of that I sometimes can neglect this blog. Jamie Ruth is back in london until June so we've got a little rotation of guys doing some guest spots. Things are going great at the shop and we out do ourselves everyday in order to keep that momentum strong! Here's a little bit of whats been going on lately around the shop!

hellooooo 2012!

      So as we welcome in the new year it's customary to reflect on the year that we've put behind us. 2011 was a very eventful year for the shop.We participated in an exhibition at Southeastern Louisiana's gallery, we honed our biannual Sailor Jerry Sunday into a very successful and fun event for all, traveled to San Antonio for their convention and participated in the New Orleans convention. We also said goodbye to two very talented artists (Don't worry, they're still alive.) Nixxin moved to Austin, and Larry moved back home to Indiana. Both of them will be returning regularly to come hang out and tattoo so don't worry too much. We also welcomed Jamie Ruth to the Tattooagogo family. She recently moved back from London and will be with us through March. She fits into the daily shananigans around the shop very nicely! You should definitely pick up a tattoo from her while she's in town! 

So enough of that. Here's a look at what's been going on with us these days!

Heres Donn's wall at the "Ink & Needles" show put on by Southeastern University's gallery director, Professor Dale Newkirk. Thanks once again Dale for putting on one hell of a show. It was great to be a part of this.
